The Chauburji was built in 1646 as a gateway to a large garden that existed in Mughal times, drawing by Amir Baksh from the Mayo School of Art where John Lockwood Kipling was Principal between 1875 to 1893. Gouache. Lahore, Punjab, 19th century.
